On Thursday 12th September, we had the pleasure of welcoming back former student Eve Stewart back to AICS. This summer she represented Team GB @ the olympic games in Paris in the women's coxed 8 rowing. Eve's boat won their initial heat and progressed straight into the final of the event. In the final the British boat put up a great fight and managed to come away with a bronze medal. 

All of us at AICS are superbly proud of Eve and her accomplishment which made it even better that she was so keen on coming back into the South building to show off her medal in both the Primary and Secondary sections of the building. All the students that met her were in awe of her achievement and could take some inspiration from a former student who has worked hard to achieve her life's dream and goal of winning an olympic medal. 

We would like to thank Eve for being a great sport and we wish her all the success moving forward to hopefully another medal in LA in 2028.
