About Us
Welcome to MUNAICS, the official Model United Nations conference of the Amsterdam International Community School (AICS). Based in Amsterdam, MUNAICS is a student-led initiative that brings together young minds from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful discussions on global affairs.
Following the success of our inaugural conference, we are proud to present the second edition of MUNAICS, taking place on September 27-28, 2025, at the AICS South campus (more info can be found here). Our mission is to provide an inclusive platform where both beginner and advanced delegates can develop their diplomatic skills, deepen their understanding of international relations, and contribute to thought-provoking debates on pressing global issues.
This year’s theme, "A World in Transition: The Future of Global Solidarity," reflects the urgency of fostering unity in an ever changing world. Through engaging committee sessions, we aim to inspire delegates to think critically, negotiate effectively, and advocate for peace, equality, and sustainable development.
With a range of committees catering to different experience levels, MUNAICS welcomes students eager to explore diplomacy—whether stepping into their first conference or tackling the challenges of the Security Council or Crisis Council.
